Hi,
I just bought a Hans Hoyer horn "series 2", made in Germany, with serial number 276300M.
Would you know the exact model and the manufacturing year? It plays well, but I'm curious.
Thanks for maintaining this forum.

Re: Hans Hoyer Horn
Hello Alex,
the horn was manufactured around August 1994. I suspect it might be the 4801K model. But for that, I would need to see photos of the entire instrument.
Best regards,
Mario Weller

Re: Hans Hoyer Horn
Hello Alex,
thank you for the photos. My assumption was correct, it is the former model 4801 K. I’m glad to hear that you consider it a good horn.
I strongly suspect that I helped build many of its parts. It's been a long time....

Hello Mario,
Thanks for you answer about the model, it's nice to know.
It's also very nice to know that might have partly built it - As I wrote, this a a very pleasant instrument to play, I'll take good care of it.
Kind regards,
Alex
