B&S soprano

I have a B&S soprano sax number 05792, stamped "Made in Germany"
Can you tell me what model this is, and when this was manufactured?

I would appreciate some pictures. I would guess that the engrainvg shows "Weltklang Solist". Right?
After reviewing some photos, I can probably tell more.

Hi Alan,

I'm not aware of a model code.

In distinction to the so-called Weltklang, your soprano is the more professional model from B&S.
It was built until 1993. Serial number 05792 was built in JUN 1992, so one of the late sopranos.

After that, the Soprano "Series 1000" started. To my understanding, the design was quite similar to your soprano.

Ich habe gerade einen B&S Markneukirchen- Klingenthal sopranosaxophone (silver) gekriegt. Mir wurde interessieren wie alt das ist und ob da irgendeine extra infos zur sax liegt. Made in GDR, prod. nummer 3194. Bitte fotos ansehen.

herzlichen Glückwunsch zu dem Saxophon.
Das Soprano mit Seriennummer 3914 (nicht 3194 !!) wurde im August 1987 gebaut.
Weitere Infos liegen mir leider nicht vor.
